More progress

We now are the proud owners of a king sized bed (the top sheet of which is currently in the dryer which is, for unknown reasons, not working). There is no other furniture in the bedroom.

Bob moved the water heater from a cubby in the bedroom closet to the garage. He then put shelving in the cubby.

We've ordered this:


which will then give us a usable closet.

There was a glitch in which Jimmy put a new doorknob on the front door, locked it, and left the keys inside. (Oy!) But we had opened the garage back door's window so Dave removed the screen and got in that way.

We've been replacing cat-hair laced blinds with new slats (one could knit a cat with all that hair).

There is now a desk in the guest room.


We go to Home Depot almost every day. I think I know all the workers by name. Stan helped us pick out cabinets and countertops for the kitchen and they now reside in the garage. It's a galley kitchen and has a kind of desk area at one end which we're replacing with much needed cabinets.
